Anti-Virus!
We're not going to cover whether or not you need a virus scanning application on your system. We are assuming that everyone is in agreement on this issue. What we will cover is some basics about different types of viruses, how they can affect your system, different ways in which they are spread and what can be done to control them. This is a Win32 application that is very intuitive and easy to
use, it even updates automatically. We HIGHLY recommend

Anti-Virus
(Free with Free Updates)
This is a DOS based application than does require some
advanced pc skills to use effectively. It does not automatically
scan your e-mail and only scans your system when it has been
instructed to do so.
